Delete Edge

Hi - Using ver.14.3 with Win10. Whenever I try to delete an edge, it eliminates the entire color fill as well. Which becomes uneditable. =[

Pls advise.

That sounds correct to me when using Delete Edge. Without that edge, the curve becomes open and there is nothing to fill.

Perhaps you meant to use Hide Edge? That's a different tool, and it hides the Stroke in the edge segment without deleting it.
