New features on "Copy Current Frame"

Post by Damon_lai »

From the top menu bar: Animation > Copy Current Frame

Currently, we can either select all channels("Copy entire document") or select the channels one by one manually, each and every time we use this function.

Suggest adding two new options:
1, Copy Animated Channels
2, Remember Current Selections

The first option will copy only the animated channels.
The second one will remember current selections (whether they're selected manually or by checking those options), and automatically keep them selected next time using the function.

So that every time we animate a cycle, and need to copy the first frame to the end frame, we just need to click "OK"(with above two new options checked). It's much more handy than selecting the same channels one by one, and time by time manually.

For what it's worth, and if this is just about the cycles - there's always a bone channel in red, for selected bones. So, if you copy/paste these - the rest of the document/channels remain the same, or with the ongoing (background) animation on.

Cycle is one example.

At some situation, it's not all the animated channels are shown in the timeline together, i.e., when animating sub-layers inside bone layer, you can't copy & paste all the animated channels across different layers without switching layers one by one and time by time.

Another case is that, when the keyframes are high density, it's tedious to pick all the exact keyframes across different channels and layers.
