Thanks alot.i used the script to delete the negatice keyframes.it is still quite slow and laggy.is it because of the many layers and textures? or some other reason.some of posts suggested that bad shapes with many points can cause this.i am unable to see anything. is the sheela character slow in general.synthsin75 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 02, 2025 12:17 am The shila file has keyframes in the negative timeline (known bug).
You can find my menu script to fix this here: viewtopic.php?t=32714
I've analyzed your character. I had a similar problem and it drove me crazy because the program was very slow. I think the problem can be the combination of the target bones with the leg bone angle constraints. You need to disable the leg bone angle constraints (both bones and both legs) or change the values. Try it and see if it makes things run more smoothly.jawad wrote: ↑Sat Aug 02, 2025 12:08 am I have been using this software trying to learn the ropes of rigging for a while since there are very few tutorials I am having a hard time finding many solutions. I am working on a show where some of the characters if I put them in one file it becomes very laggy . Cant work or animate at all. I cant seem to find out why this may cause or how to solve it. i am adding a dive containing 2 of my problamatic riggs and file why it is lagging alot.is it because of the rigg or any kind of hardware issue. need some insight. i added the files for with the rigs and a shot containing some of the characters.

I just saw this, and wanted to share a thought: it's probably not a good idea to have more than one bone in the same bone chain pointing to the same target bone because...negroclarito wrote: ↑Wed Aug 13, 2025 1:21 am You need to disable the leg bone angle constraints (both bones and both legs)...
I've checked the character again (shila New) and you're right. It has both leg bones linked to the same target bone. But even when I unlink the first leg bones from the target bone, at least for me, the character still runs very slowly. And if you animate the character and duplicate it, MOHO freezes completely.
I'm not an expert and I have a lot of issues myself that I solve but I noticed that a lot of your smart bones are parented to your main bone "B4". This may or may not be the issue but if I were you I would create a bone that's not parented to any other bone and parent all my smart bones to it. I call it my "follow bone". Whenever I need to move my character and move the smart bones either I parent my "follow bone" to my "main bone" or I don't parent it to anything and parent my smart bones to it and move it accordingly/manually. Also with some of my characters I turn off SHAPE EFFECTS AND LAYER EFFECTS when I animate. It makes the program run faster for me. Also you had alot of negative keyframes. There's a scrip called SYN: NEGATIVE KEYS. It removes negative keyframes. I hope this helps. All I can do good is animate. I'm not a scripty, techy Cat with all the answers. I just figure it out as I go. Also GREENLAW helps me alot. Listen to him. Trial and Error my friend.jawad wrote: ↑Sat Aug 02, 2025 12:08 am I have been using this software trying to learn the ropes of rigging for a while since there are very few tutorials I am having a hard time finding many solutions.
