Thumbnails

Hi,
I had to reinstall Windows and all applications. Currently, I don't have thumbnails in Moho, but I do have the program's icon. I have tried a lot of things on the Windows side, but nothing works. Has anyone else had this issue before and found a solution? I would appreciate any help.

Some ideas...

First, check Moho's Thumbnail preferences.

1. Open Preferences > Documents
2. At the bottom is a list for Thumbnail Size. Make sure it's not set to None. (Mine is set to 512 x 512.)

The above might not help because I think the option affects only new files saved from Moho.

If that doesn't help, try forcing the filetype association to Moho 14. It's possible that the files are being associated with an older Moho or no program at all. To force the filetype association...

1. Right-click over the a Moho project file and choose Open With.
2. Then choose Choose Another App.
3. Do not select Moho, instead scroll to the bottom of the list and choose Choose An App On your PC.
4. Go to the Moho 14.3 folder on your computer, and select Moho.exe
5. Back in the Choose Another App window, select the Always option.

Alternatively, you can open the File Properties window for the file and click the Change button next to Opens With. Then follow steps 3 - 5.

If this doesn't help, it might have to do with registry settings...but let's try the above first.

Having two point releases of the same version of Moho installed can also confuse thumbnails on Windows. If you have, say, 14.2 & 14.3 installed, I would uninstall both and only reinstall 14.3.

Hi Greenlaw, it didn't work. I have only installed version 14.3.
