1 bone and 2 images; for a beginner

Post by amadana »

Hello there,

I've 1 bone and 2 images.
1 images of a body and 1 image of an arm.

I've made a bone layer and put there the arm inside.
Then i must get image 2 ( the body) to this arm, so i can move the hole body (1+2) and animated.

I put the body into the bone-layer, but off course it's not working that i can manipulate the bone appart of the body.
But one's i've done it already ( the body also in the bone-layer) And i don't know how i did it, but i was be able to manipulate the arm appart of the body, and when i move the body the arm goes with it.

Now, i'm wondering what i have done, because i don't know how to do that again! :?

Who can help me?

Thanks!

Hello Dana,

One way of doing it:

1. Make the arm bone as a child of a body bone (see Tutorial 1.4).
2. Assign the arm image to the arm bone, and the body image to the body bone (see Tutorial 4.1).
3. Animate using the bones and bone layer.

Regards, Myles.
