Frame you work on

Post by Terminator »

The blue square where you draw in (sorry not sure on the name).

Well my problem is that my drawing is a bit bigger than the output area. So when i preview or save it only shows some of it.

How do i make the output area bigger so all the image fits on?

I tried going to file project settings and change the dimensions. I tried doubling them and nothing happend.

Then when i went to preview i found out the preview box was bigger but so was the image. It showed me the same as before but in a biggger scree.

Help me please :D

You want to use the camera tools at the bottom of the toolbar. The left one moves the output area around and the one next to it zooms in and out. Just zoom out to cover your whole scene and then move it to frame it correctly.

Hope this helps,

Alan

Yeah but thats no good as it moves the picture with it and the zoom doesn't make the output area bigger just closer.

The blue square is the edge of the camera's frame. If you want to change its size in the editor window, you can use the Zoom tool at the Workspace tools, or the mouse's wheel, if you have. In the final material you will see only the parts inside of the blue square. This is independent from the size of the viewed part in the editor window, so you must set the blue rectangle to the right size around your drawing. To do this, use what alano wrote above.

Put all your layers into one group layer then scale it using the scale layer tool to make fit into the box you want

I think you may have used the 'Workspace' tools rather than the camera ones - the camera tools are the slightly pinkish ones (with pictures of a camera on them). Second row from the bottom.

Hope this helps.
