Animate the Bone Constraints Parameters

Post by Tudor Om »

Hey!

I would love if I could animate the parameters in the Bone Constraints panel.

For example, if I have a bone A that controls the position of the bone B. It would be nice to animate the percentage of that influence over time. On frame 10 it would be 30% and on frame 65 it would be 10%.
Think of a rig that has a head turn and one control bone for the position of the pupils. As the head turns the shape of the eyes changes and the pupil should move proportionally with this change.

Of course, it would be nice if all the parameters of the Bone Constraints panel should be animatable.

Thanks,
Tudor

Surely there are many thinking this. I just got done watching that demo of the flies moving with delay and I thought of the possibilities. Either with keyframes, sliders, or dropdown options for the Bone Constraints parameters, we could get more organic results.
