Not sure if this is already solved by others but it's been an issue for me for ages.
So PSD import is FAN-DANG-TASTIC and I love it to death. However there are a few... quirks? One of them that has burned me big time a few times the last few weeks is making minor modifications to a layer in the psd and when moho updates it the layer shrinks or expands or simply moves out of position because the bounding box is different.
So my first idea which works, but is not very efficient, is to make ALL the photoshop layers in the PSD have a pixel at the extreme boundaries to make sure you have room to shrink move or change the layer without it going wonky in Moho. I didn't like this very much. All the layers in moho were huge, the full width and height of the psd so. hard to select.
So my next idea is a variation of this same thing. Instead of going "full width and height" for the size of each layer, it usually only happens with some layers, like arms and legs, biceps forearms or head stuff or even hand and mouth switch layers. So instead of a full size boundary fix just do a "smallish" one about 20% larger than the layer in photoshop. That way if I always stay with this smaller boundary it won't go wonky in Moho on updates and I still have plenty of room to make minor changes without messing up the entire psd import.
If there is another solution I don't know about, if there's user error on my part would love to know. I just made a change to a PSD with some characters heads and the heads all shrunk and dropped down inside the shirt collars. It reminded me of the movie Beetlejuice with the head shrinker and was quite funny if I ignore the effort to fix it.
