Have I lost my mind?
Suddenly... or maybe not... I can't save out of Moho with realy long filenames in OSX.
I thought... it just started... but... I can't be sure.
The funny thing is... I have files with long names that open and save fine. But if I do a save as it truncates the name.
I did a batch render (cool thing that) and it did funky things to the name on one of the exported movie files.
Could this be a problem with my system somehow? Does Moho have a file name limitation? (32 characters I think is the limit in Moho that I am encountering)

Mac OSX and file name lengths?

Have you tried using the comments area in your moho files' info window (ctrl-click on the icon and select "get info..." to bring it up) to do extended descriptions of of your files? The comments area isn't as limited in length as the filename.
Also, try using directories in the finder to better organize your scenes.

Well... the filenames aren't... filled with notes...
here's an example...
08_thisguysname_thatguysname.moho
There are 25 scenes. Each scene file name just has the name of the character/characters who interact. I tried a simpler naming convention but it seemed over complicated with so few scenes.
This shouldn't be a problem anymore though.
Since Moho is now a universal binary for Mac OSX... and I just bought Tiger and plan to upgrade... soonish... I think this problem will dissapear. I have some other slightly "older" applications that also have this problem. They were touted to "run on OSX" but don't support certain newer features (like long file names) since they came out in the early days of OSX.
