Yopyop 2 and 3

Post by Jeronimus »

ORIGIN OF SWEATER is the second episode in the animated series "Yopyop". It's about two teachers, Gustaaf Dirks and Paul Janssens, who are based on the actual teachers of the creators (me and Hans)...

In this episode the apposition is briefly discussed. Somehow the conversation turns into a question as too why there are dirty spots on Paul Janssens' sweater.

Origin of Sweater was the second cartoon about our two teachers that I wrote completely, and I voiced together with a friend of mine named Hans. Some people thought it was worse than the first one, but I liked it better. It still isn't a masterpiece anyway. You do not have to see the first one to get this.

IN THE BEGINNING is the third episode in this series. It was the second-to longest episode of the series, or at least it was untill I cut some jokes that were only funny to Belgian people and would not be understood on a universal level.

In this episode, we go back to the very beginning. How did the two teachers meet? That will all be explained in this 10-minute episode. A little hint: it involves Germans.

In the Beginning was the third cartoon we wrote. It turned out surprisingly long, but that also didn't turn out to be a problem at all. We decided that the episodes should ALL be this long starting from now. So episode 5 and 6 are as long. Episode 4 you say?

It is recommended to have watched episode 2 first.

SOME MORE COMMENTARY: There is no lip sync, despite the fact that I discovered how. Though I did discover this after I'd made the three little movies. It seemed a little silly to me to suddenly start using mouth animation in a series, after I hadn't originally. The same goes for hands, they weren't drawn originally, and so I figured, that's just the way the characters look. But, any other projects I have and am now working on do involve mouth animation and hands.
Yeah, all the episodes are finished and they've been burned on a dvd, I just need to manage to upload them sometime, so then I will post them.

Well, I guess I'll share the other episodes anyways... were anyone interested, which apparently isn't the case, but well.

YOPYOP 4 is... well, it's lost...

Originally, all 6 episodes of 'Yopyop' were to be released on a dvd for our classmates, and eventually for Mr. Janssens and Mr. Dirks too.
Now, there's no Yopyop 4 on the dvd, and they don't know why... This might explain though...

REPLACEMENTATION OF TEACHING PERSONS is the fifth episode in the animated series "Yopyop", about two teachers; Gustaaf Dirks and Paul Janssens.

Staf Dirks wants to tell Paul Janssens his opinion on past events, but it appears that he doesn't completely remember what actually happened...
