Just about the only way you can do this in Moho is to work out the soundtrack in advance, record and edit it it till you are satisfied that it does what you want, then import it into Moho. Then you can match your animation to the sound.

This is the way professionals do it. Unfortunately, Moho can only import one soundtrack, (which must start from frame 1), and doesn't have any mixing or editing facilities. So your sound has to be built in its entirety elsewhere. A good (free) editor is Audacity. Nice and simple too. Google for it -- you'll find it.

Hope this helps,

J
You can't have everything. Where would you put it?

The alternative is to apply the footstep sound to the rendered animation video later in some video editor that does allow sound mixing/placement.

There are a lot of video editors of all prices and quality. One list is here: http://www.bakhter.com/html/video/video_editors.html
Adobe Premiere is a well-known example.

Some people also use compositing programs, a related category of software: http://www.bakhter.com/html/video/video ... itors.html
Adobe After Effects is a well-known example.

I rather like the Sony Vegas family of video editors - as a hobbyist I use the little brother of the family, Vegas Move Studio, which has a limited number of layers and no scripting but is less expensive. These editors can use the alpha layer created by Moho for compositing.

I think Serif's MoviePlus also comes partly from the same codebase.

Other people on this forum have expressed fondness for Editstudio from Pure Motion.

Probably the best way is to try demo versions (if available) to see what fits your way of thinking/working.
