It could be they "fixed" the original problem.

When I signed up they indicated that they knew there were problems and they were trying to address them.

I was also told when I clicked the download to come back later when the traffic was lower.

The traffic from this thing was effecting the whole site... took ages and ages just to see images of some of the other content.

If you sign up now... you can download the free Poser any time... you don't have to download it before the promotion is over.

Is there a way you can re-establish your download in ie6? I've been trying to download Poser 5 for over a week. Everytime ie explorer drops out and i have to keep starting from scratch. I've tried download managersd and they just download anything from 1-10 mb then stop as if they've finished but the files are not finished and can't be executed.

Can anyone help!

Thanks

As I've mentioned earlier in the thread, the server seems to send an "end of file" marker whenever it times out, which unfortunately stamps your incomplete downloads as complete, making it impossible to "resume" the download.

Whenever you perform your next download attempt, try closing any browser windows you have open to Content Paradise immediately after the download begins. For some reason, this minute factor seems to directly affect whether or not you can get a complete download.

Thanks Bones 3D. I missed that earlier thread. I'll give it a shot and see what happens.

I have downloaded and installed the free Poser 5 OK. When I try to register it with eFronteer. I keep getting an error saying that the software serial number is incorrect.

My serial number came in the email from eF.

I'm curious if anyone else has the same trouble :?

The free Poser 5 version works fine on my PC too with the given serno. I beleive if I register the SW with eF than I can get free download of documenation and tutorials that is where my serial number does not work.

I cannot download the tutorials either, the only thing I see is the home page.

I have been able to download updates for Poser 5 using the serno that came in the email 8)

From the eF homepage go to downloads -> updates & doc. Select the SW and just put in the serno when asked. Don't bother trying to register product when asked
