Library in Anime Studio

Post by godlike27 »

I like anime charaters and other files,
but I was wondering about the 3D files, which are great
but they are not quite "animatable" since they are one solid thing,
is just to show you can import them?
or is there a way to make them move?

3D Object files are viewable with the 3D camera-meaning you can turn, rotate, etc. You can apply 2D bones to them, but what you get is something of a warping effect rather than actual 3D animation.

However, there are instances where stylistically using a 3D object or landscape with 2D elements can be interesting. It depends on what you want to do image wise.-R

You're right about the "warping effect". Today I've been playing with baby penguin model.
I've seen some cool 3d stuff by Selgin but as I understand he builds up a model from parts (torso.obj, hands.obj etc).
All I did in Moho was 2D so now that I have Anime Studio I must learn something new
 this way I won't have to complain that Anime Studio is the same as Moho :)

But it's not exclusive to Anime Studio, importing 3D objects (*.obj) was part of Moho as well, so it's not something you must learn now, just because you now have Anime Studio...

but well (now i have a copy of anime studio), there is no one boned 3d character at anime studio library. maybe because LM have never have been too much friend of make 3d characters in moho...
they published things as 3d rhino, dinosaurio pulento, pistola, animita, cigarro... but all are simple no animatable 3d objects.
