...Oh, OH! First Anime Studio "Dynamics" Bug?

Post by Rai López »

Curious, I don't know why, cause supposely Anime Studio is identical to Moho 5.4, but now I open my characters with Dynamic bones in AS and it dance crazily during playback, with suddenly jumpings rotations side to side... I have Moho 5.4 already instaled and the same file is reproduced smoothly and perfectly as always, so... I think something could have changed or missed...

BTW: Renders are exported correctly, uhmmm... more curious... it seems like if the problem be in the playback capability cause the jumps are more pronunciated when more points/shapes or complex the file is, you can try it... Anyway I repeat that in Moho 5.4 there is any problem with this...

Hmm, it could be this: Anime Studio defaults to frame skpping on, and I believe the last release of Moho defaulted to off. Try turning off frame skipping in the Animation menu.

(When skipping frames, the dynamics simulation is losing accuracy. I'll have to look into whether the dynamics can be updated more accurately while skipping frames. If you turned on frame skipping in Moho, I suspect you'd see the same result.)

...THANK YOU!!! :D And yes... Frame Skipping always have had that problem using Dynamics, I don't know why I don't thought it before 8) ...I suppose that I couldn't imagine why that function state could be changed in this relase  ...Well, now it seems that I must deactivate it each time I open AS cause the program doesn't remember it, well... nevertheless it's a minor thing and I'm very happy knowing that the Blue Marble is still there between the code looking for improvements & solutions :) ...THANKS AGAIN & CIAO!

It would be even better to be able turn view dynamics OFF while animating.

It would still render... but you don't have to see hair... and clothes... flying all over the place while keyframing a walk.
