masking 3d objects

Post by ulrik »

Is it possible to view the masking effect of 3d objects in realtime, I can't find out how to do that. I'm able to do it with every other type of objects (vectors, images, bone folders etc. but not with 3d object.
When I render it works fine. I have a file here if anyone would try it.
thanks / ulrik

I'd like to say you that you can do it but not... and that is an old Feature Request which I think we'll can see made some day cause it's logical but not, not yet...

PS: And remember that you always can do a Preview (Ctrl+P) instead a Render (Ctrl+R) to see the masking results more quickly, not real time, but more quick that a Render at least...

It would be so nice to be able to see it in realtime I think, I'll hope it will come in some update.
thanks Ramon

Hopefully...

All the masking preview issues could be handled in one fell swoop.
