Actually, the original plan was to animate in Flash, but after getting the characters illustrated and ready it became clear that Moho was a better choice. So I exported all the pieces from Flash as png files and reassembled them in Moho. The animation itself is pretty straightforward. There are a couple of 3D layer turns, some blurring, and subtle drop shadows. The googly eye in the eyeglass uses bone dynamics.

Outstanding work. This type of animation clearly does well in delivering a product or idea and is enjoyable to watch as well.

great job
Hi,
first time responding to someone's animation that I recall. I love the style, very original. The only change I would suggest is the lady's cane touch the floor or at least go behind the lower curtain.
Great punchline!

I got it the first time through. In the beginning though I made a wrong association since you said ti was a for a software company, it was on a blog, and mentioned "movable Type" I thought about the blogging software.

Hi, congrats for such a good job! Both the layout, characters and the animation appear clean and fresh. The paper-cut style, as somebody said, is so appropiate for anything done in Moho/AS . I loved those smart details as the lightbulb/idea, taking advantage of the style you're using.
Just one crit now: I would've given the style a "scent" of old, perhaps simulating a dirty old filmstrip or something like that.
