If so, please:

Model
Linux distribution and version.
Features and /or bugs under AS
AS/Moho version
Feedback

I planning to gift me one for Chistmas ( 8) ) and want to be sure about it. I'm interested in Intuos and Graphire. Intuos seems to be great, but is so expensive...
From this post I know the tablet will work, but I want to listen your opinions.

Thankyou very much for your help.

Well, for me it doesn't work out of the box. The cursor just goes up and down, and seems to be overridden by the laptop's joystick cursor. It seems you'll need some command line modifications to get it to work. I just hate that, so I will not use my Wacom Intuos 3 for my 1998 i386 laptop (would be too slow to be useful anyway).

But is your 1998 i386 a linux box? I have it not clear from your response...

I've bought a laptop in 1998, which was Windows 98 ready. Of course, because MS doesn't support Win98 anymore, I can't use that particular OS. So I installed Ubuntu 6.06 on it. I call that my linux box.

Anyway, the Wacom drivers are present, but they simply don't work properly. I only can scroll up and down and not sideways. I'm sure there is some driver conflict, which can be cured which changing the settings. However, since I don't plan to use the Wacom Intuos 3 on that particular computer, why bother?

it should be a conflict with latop's joystick cursor. I have Ubuntu 6.06 in a PC box so I supouse it will work well. Until today I have no conflict with any of my peripherics (SRL Nikon D70, Canon Lide20 scanner, and Palm Tugsten E)

Anyway thankyou for your response.

(Have you tried Xubuntu? It is lighter than Ubuntu and have same support. It will improve your old latop performance)
