Using Anime Studio Pro / OSX 10.4.8

Well, I am using an .aif-file 85 MB, imports nicely.
The Sound-Wave-Indicator stops at frame 1024 (have not found out why),
but the sound plays until the end at frame 2850.
My fps are about 20 (Allow Frame Skipping) but the sound is still good enough for animation-adjustments.

You haven’t accidentally muted your soundtrack.

Cheers

Interesting, i went ahead and converted the aiff file in quicktime and exported to a wave file and it came in perfectly. problem solved :D

You may not need to do this, but I sometimes save out a "low res" sound file copy for lip sync.

Sometimes I even use filters to make the dialog "more pronounced" so I can see it visually in AS or papagayo.

Then when it's perfect I import the untouched hi-res sound for final rendering.

That's what i did did for the lip sycning and animation, and imported the high quality for the final export. But again the issue was large aiff files would not import, converted to wave was the only format that would flow in.
