My very first animation.

Hi this is my first character animation in AS. Actually my first ever character animation ever. :) I'm just wondering how it looks I'm just starting out and there are too clips of the same character One with a lip sync and one just moving a bit. please tell me what you think. :D

Well, you're definitely on the right track.
Looks quite professional and has a sense of style.
It helps to have a good voice track.

By the way, since I am a Southerner by birth, this "My People" you're animating...

Actually I'm from Nova Scotia, Canada. I did the quick voice clip as a test. I do sound and music editing ALL the time thats my main thing. Animation is just next in line so I'm starting to learn it. Any Comments are appreciated :)

It is a good begining. You have avoided to draw the eyes in your first sample. It is good, becasue then you get more conficence when you dominate completely the AS techniques (that seems that you already dominate :wink:) you can try more complex setups.
How did you achieve the shadow in the neck? It seems to be a vector layer over the whole face with a light circle blurred and 50% opaque... ?
