Thanks. I just finished editing it last night. Still a few errors and missing items but the deadline was last night in order to get it submitted on time so I pushed passed all obstacles - and their were plenty with computers locking up, network going down -sheesh. But its done now for better or worse. I'll try to get a DivX copy posted after the show tomorrow.
I also finished my project for the 3D special effects class. Not quite enough 'story' to call a short but met all the requirements. I will have to revist some of these projects after school is out because they are always rushed out in a few weeks time. Hopefully I have enough bits to bit together a demo reel and once I find a job I want to begin the long term projects of putting together turnarounds, scripts and some animation for a couple of story ideas I want to pitch.
Anyway, here it is in all its lame glory...

Yes, S. Cargoe had a swimming action I set up with the bend modifier and some morph targets but it got messy and I couldn't sort out all the key farmes to figure out where the weird motion was coming from so I ended up just deleting that group of keys. Didn't have enough time to redo it before the project was due because the raytracing on that scene, plus the waves, volume lights etc meant that it took 12-14 hours to render on my pc. :/
The tune came from a very cool site incompetech.com At least three of the shorts that will be shown by our school tomorrow use his tunes as they are varied and very well done.
