I'm doing a job animating cut out bitmaps and I have run into a annoying problem. Once they are assembled on a skeleton I'm finding I have to hop back to photo shop to tweak them. Here comes the problem - When I update the bitmap by going to the layer settings and re-selecting the source image it does not update. Rather I seem to have to select a different bitmap, close the panel, open it again and choose the original to get it to update. I would love to just have to press an update button.
Time line.
This one has irritated me for ever, I may have poster a feature request back in the mists of time but I think it's worth doing it again.
The frame marks on top of the time line are very useful in timing your animation - thick lines over the 0, 6, 12, 18 etc but only if you have frame 0 as part of your animation. I usually have that frame as a set up frame only so in fact I would ideally like the thick line to start on frame 1.
As a feature request I would love to have the major marks start on 1 or better still to have them user customisable.
Actually. An unlimited supply of frame markers (Not the existing ones) would fit the bill.
On a related note Is it just me who has a problem turning off the onion skin markers. I usually have to resort to using my mouse as apposed to stylus and even then it seems to take quite a few clicks.
Bitmaps and time line.

Yes that does work but I am flipping back and forth between AS and Photoshop tweaking bitmaps.n My current work around is to rename the bitmap after each modification. As long as the name is different AS will update it. If the name is the same it sticks with the one it has. (Unless you restart - as you say)
I just thought that this could be a little more streamlined. Fewer clicks = more time doing something useful
