About Shape Effects

Post by Rai López »

It is obvious that Shape Effects need a good check since long time ago... I'm asking for it since I meet Moho, and I'm sure that so much people will be very happy with this... I'm talking about POOR & LIMITED Gradient Effect in example (a good and complet gradient tool are basically, I think), or about effects like Sketchy (that seem don't work very well), or others that could be INCREDIBLY interesting if they work fine, like Spots, Splotchy or Texture Effects, that (all of they) experiment mad and strange movements when you translate/roll/tilt camera, or transform the layer, or move points/bones or anything... sincerly, for that unwanted results, best it'd be that they would be complety static (or you could choose it at leat) ...Another thing is that It'll be nice that this effects could be animated, of course, cause we are talking about an ANIMATION program, yes... but well, I'm sure that this "features requests" will come with the time, but the question is, WHEN? I hope (and I must say PLEEEASE) that in a near future... Well, sorry if I've been so much harsh, like Scar would say: I'm only looking out for the well-being of my FAVOURITE program, BYE!

I second this request, it would make things a lot easier to have the effects in realtime (without having to render) and to have the spots, splotshy fx stop moving around when using the camera

Transparent effects.

Post by Rhoel »

Being able to have transparent fills would be highly desirable.

I use a lot of graduated filters/fills ... at present, I cannot find a way of using the Shape Effects graduated filter so I get colour to transparent - you can only get colour graduated to base fill colour.

If it possible to turn off the base colour and retain the effect, this would be a big help.
