A good FREE webhost ?

Post by Genete »

Hi!
As well as I'm planning to submit some vidoe tutorials I'm trying to find a good and FREE webhost supplier. I've review some of them but all of them offers some restriction with file upload (type or upload size)

Does anybody know a good one who check those requeriments?

Mimimum disk space: 100 MB
Minimum upload size: 20 MB
Monthly bandwith: maximum.
Files allowed: all
Registration: free (no cost)

You know, I have one in iespana.es but don't allow to ftp movies, only swf images or txt files. I can upload but cannot download it. I have to check if zip files are allowed.

Do you think it could be a problem that I zip a video tutorial (mov or avi) and post the link here in the forum?

Thanks for your help.

There's Google Pages -- I believe you can upload any kind of content there if you use the file upload button.
http://pages.google.com/

Else, have you considered using one of the usual video hosts that give embed code to allow you to place the video from their servers onto your site? You should be able to do that on your iespana page if you can place Flash files, since the embed code is for a Flash player of the streaming video.

LOL! Well, I report that your hand throwing the Anime Studio logo worked perfectly!

EDIT: I checked a little more closely, and while the Google Pages gives you 100MB as you wanted, the maximum file size you can upload is 10MB each, not 20MB like you wanted.

It does'n mind!
I've checked out that this is the most easy way to create my own webpage. I'm not a good publisher and not a good blogger so I needed something like this. Once I can have more disk space I can insert the link here.
Even I can make a low res version of the turotial and the Hi version can be splitte into 20 MB files.

Anyway thanks!!!
