I want to export around 40 images using switch layers in a jib jab style animation from anime studio pro to Flash SWF format, when I export it all my non switch layers show up and none of my switch layers are there. It dosn't say anything about not being able to export switch layers? What am I not doing?
thanks,
switch layers export to swf not showing up

Switch images won't export to SWF if you use bones to animate them directly. If you have aren't using bones, or you have bound the entire switch layer to a bone, you should be able to do it, but the image layers may have already been marked as "bone manipulated", which won't export, even if you haven't used any bones.
To fix this, a slightly tedious workaround:
Go to frame 0 on the timeline.
For each image layer:
- Highlight it in the Layers panel
- Go to the Bone menu, and select Release Layer.
When you highlight another layer, you should see the image layer you just released has a tiny red dot in the upper left of the layer icon in the Layers panel. This indicates the image layer should export to SWF.
When all the icons have a red dot, try exporting again.

I assume it's just an overlooked minor bug because as far as I know nobody has mentioned it before - I guess most people exporting to SWF haven't been using image-based switch layers until now?
Stick a bug report in the appropriate part of the forum and no doubt it will be fixed in a future version.
