i am tempted to defect over to toon boom software
because it offers so much more for a little more
money. And my time IS MONEY!

So tired of hearing people say that.toonertime wrote:i am tempted to defect over to toon boom software

Going out on a limb but posting a list of the features you would like to see in the next version of AS instead might actually make more sense and be a bit more productive.
I don't see "switching programs" as a viable feature to be blunt about it.

I can't view this video, maybe you could describe it? If that other web site takes down that video or changes the link there won't be any reference for this feature request.psaldari wrote:See this for undarstanding my request

See? Now you've done it. You got Vern all worked up.
Anyway, what this "peg" thing seems to boil down to is a better system of motionpaths that allows for more precise control. It looks a bit like Flash where the motionpath remains a separate element.

1. Definately one of the most important missing features at this moment, animateble shape and layer order.
2. Rethink the way the tools work a bit. Half of the time I am selecting a tool only so I can deselect some points, then selecting other points and going back to tool b.
3. animatable line hiding/ showing
4. A color picker
5. Functioning lock bone feature.
And I am quoting these from other users:
-Re-usable libraries and "instances", like Flash. Actions are clumsy.
-Ability to use multiple sound files, and position them anywhere
-Better timeline controls (move, delete, or add keyframes on ALL selected layers -- requires ability to select multiple layers)
-Copying and pasting keyframes. From anywhere to anywhere.
edit: oh, and maybe a gravity influence in the bone dynamics.

Check in the scripting forum for tool scripts from Fazek. He wrote a point tool that does everything... select... multiple select... translation... lasso select... deselect... etc all in one. I can't live without it... speeds up drawing time by %1000.EddyWally wrote:2. Rethink the way the tools work a bit. Here's the thread that has links for his tools:
