Okay, i have a 3 ghz p4, gforce 6800 GT 512 MB on AGP, and the very latest drivers.
Now before i switched to this LCD screen i was on a 17 inch CRT, with the same computer, running at 100 HZ with awesome playback performance in Anime Studio. Since switching to this 22 inch LCD i have had video lag problems trying to work and get previews now in Anime Studio. I dont know whats going on, ive tried all the available resolutions including ranging from 1024x768 (what i used to run on), and 1680 X 1050, which is the only resolution that utilizes the entire screen in the proper aspect ratio. BTW the max HZ in the highest rez is 60 HZ, but i was under the impression LCDs HZ doesnt relate to CRT HZ... i dont know ive tried lowering the color to even 8 bit!, lowest res and the same thing. someone please help me out im in love with this moniter, it plays my 3d games fine, and otherwise is a beautiful display!

im running now in max rez, 1680X1050, and when i go to lower resolutions im able to run in 75 hz, but this still makes no difference i still get laggy playback... im wondering if my video card just cant take the 22 inch display... but seriously its a geforce 6800 with 512 mb of DDR ram!! Its not exactly slow. ive also tried switching from digital to analog, still same thing. ive just recently tried plugging my laptop into the moniter, outputing to the 22 inch and it plays back better than my PC, and my laptop has a 64 mb graphics chip... So im thinking now there might be some kind of hardware conflict with the card and the moniter.
Don't forget to check the playback speed FAQ.
Are you running your Anime Studio preview/playback window at a larger size (in on-screen pixel width and height, although it may actually look smaller at higher screen resolutions)?
Regards, Myles.
