Bitmap Animation

I tried something new for the latest of my Pappy movies. In this one I made a film of my mouth while my chin was propped on a sponge mop to keep it still. I tweaked the hue and saturation a bit, and then masked it as part of the head of a bitmapped figure. It's a bit like the Dave Letterman effect, but it tracks very well with movements of the head. Though the animation of the figures isn't going to win any prizes, I really like the effect overall.

Ha ha! Excellent! I saw this effect on the Extras bit of the "Incredibles" DVD -- I think yours is better!
