Ghostly Nature of ASP's SWF output file

Post by animationkolhapur »

We are working on one indian mythological movie. Have been using ASP for some time now ... we generate all the actions in ASP and then export it to SWF and then use the SWF import option in Flash for further work ..

The problem is that at times the SWF output gives a very surprising output .. here is the file http://img413.imageshack.us/my.php?image=actionuw1.swf ... once the action is completed instead of cleaning the frame it just keeps on duplicating .. most importantly this doesn't happen always .. only sometimes it gives me such output...

If this faulty file is imported in Flash .. the keyframes show duplicate symbols ... http://img511.imageshack.us/my.php?imag ... swfge2.jpg

Is there a way we can avoid it ?

At first, this is a wonderful art!!!

:D

And second...
Yesterday I showed a friend Anime Studio, and he asked me about if AS could also create Flash movies.
I said yes and rendered one of the examples wich is included in AS and this effect of doubled picture happened also.

So, it seems, you discovered a bug.

Hahaha ! Funny comment!
Search the forum with "flash bug" and sure there are a lots of answers to that!. It happened to me sometimes yes and sometimes not. I don't like work on flash as well as it donesn't supoprt some of my preffered features of AS. As a linux user, I'm used to render my outputs to a png sequence and then composite them into a loseless movie.

I have not idea what is that bug for... and neither its solution...

Have you checked the 'extra SWF frame' box in the Project Settings window?

This will create an extra blank frame that you can then delete after you've imported it into Flash.

Might stop the duplication....

Hey don't worry! I did't realize about any "likes"... It was funny to me because almost me (not Vern of course!) don't know nothing more than two or three tricks of Anime Studio and due to our latest hiperactivity you believe we were the "masters of the universe" (by the way, Vern really is the Master of the Master of the bones...)
Cheers! :D
