Does anybody know a utility for renaming png sequences?

A place to discuss non-Moho software for use in animation. Video editors, audio editors, 3D modelers, etc.

Does anybody know a utility for renaming png sequences?

Post by moorsel »

I have rendered my animation in quite a few png sequences. To make it easier to load and edit these sequences in a video editor I would like to combine some of these sequence. This would involve renaming quite a lot of files. Does anybody a (windows based) utility that can assist me in renaming my files.

irfanview http://www.irfanview.com can not only batch rename your png's, but view, convert and a host of other things. And it's free. No windows user should be without it.
