Exporting really SLOW??

Post by perry101 »

hi im confused, when i export the animation it is really slow!

And i have exported many animations half the length, in half the time!

I am exporting this animation in AVI MOVIE, and ticked the following:

antialised edges
apply shape effects
apply layer effects

and then Microsoft video 1
compression quality is around 90!

Can someone tell me whats wrong i mean this animation aint any different to any others ive done!

Can someone help me please!?

Dale

Thanks in advance

It really determines what your animating. Particles, large resolutions, and so forth can be more time consuming.

Perhaps you have some RASTER image, like a JPG or something outside your render window, but still active. Or some particles outside your render window. AS renders EVERYTHING that's visible, even if it doesn't appear in the final render window, or even if it's behind something or out of shot.

So, turn off everything that's not actually being rendered, or make it INVISIBLE until such a time that it needs to be rendered.

Could also be your hard-drive that's filling up?

Here another thought. Could you have a virus? I just spent a day removing on from some of my computers. It was a nasty little bug that had a sleep cycle built in, so it wont lock up the computer completely.
