There is probably a ridiculously easy solution to this, but when I have parts of a shape within the same vector layer that overlap, the fill color overlapping area disappears. Think of a ven diagram- the area shared by two shapes will have no fill. I've seen examples in the tutorials provided where this doesn't always happen, but I cannot for the life of me figure out why it happens on my shapes. Any thoughts?
