a "record movement" feature

Post by joeed »

OK, so it would work something like this:

- you have your character(s) ready
- hit record
- start moving\manipulating your character
- all done, stop record.

Play it back and see that it recorded all the movements and your timing.

Granted, it would take a lot of tweaking to get the timing right, and it might not be good for long sequences, but it would sure make animating short sequences a breeze.

A great option would be a choice to "save to Action." So animate the right arm, then the left, and so on .... Then just assemble all the actions on the main timeline.

It would also be great if it could record individual point movements made with the "translate" or "magnet" tools.

That is funny. And it's close to what I'm talking about.
