masking question

hi... i know there is a tutorial on the documentation but its only when using group mask but how do i mask a layer in AS standard? totallly new in this and lost in doing masking. thanks all.

you can mask a bone layer just like a group layer. they are actually the same (but bones layer has... uhm... bones)

ok, got it! so u need to set masking on bones layer. so masking doesnt work on a vector layer over another vector layer w/o bones or group(if pro) layer?

no, masking just works with grouped (or boned) layers.
