Hi ho! I have a few questions before I buy the software. They might not be that clever, but I didn't find the information elsewhere.
* When I save a sequence of PNG's, will the background be solid-coloured (for example white), or will the alpha channel be used?
* I'm planning to buy the boxed copy. Are there any "surprises" like online activation, usb dongle, or copy protection software? I'm very concerned about this, because the last time I bought a software rompler (by E-MU), it required some copy protection software to constantly run in the background - not to mention that it even wrote to the boot sector of the hard drive. I just want to make sure that this doesn't happen with Anime Studio too.

When export to PNG sequence you export it with alpha automatically (Almost in linux version that is the one I have...). On the other hand jpeg exports with the background of the project.

Genete: I just have the whole project area covered with something ... I don't care about those 30% bigger file size since PNG is just an intermediate format for me.

I see. I do that also. But I thought there were any hidden way to stablish the background of the PNG like the project background like JPEG does.
