How would you colorize these backgrounds?

How would you colorize these backgrounds?

Hello

Here are some backgrounds drafts from me. Just to get an idea, please show me how you would colorize them if you had to make it for an animation of yours. I mean using your own style, with or without AnimeStudio.

More contrast, more composition, a lighter area in the middle where the action is. Actual colour would depend on the character and the time of day. Overall I'd try to make the composition more interesting - what is it you want to tell in this shot?

Thanks for the advices.
I would like to see how you would make it.

The backgrounds I want to make are for an animation with a little knight who cross the world to save his young princess he loves. I want to make it simple, a bit childish, but nice looking. I do not come about to find this style, that is why I ask how you other people would make it.
