AS and our new project
Hi all,
Just thought I would show you guys and gals a couple of shots from our new project.
We had almost finished the animation in Flash - then we stumbled across AS (moho) and discovered it's potential (thanks Greykid). But because we were(are) still learning we wern't confident enough to do final animation with AS.
The examples are part of a planned series. Which from now on we will animate with AS.
here are the examples:-)
The first shot is the only one we managed to do in AS (which incidently has been cut ... nothing to do with AS ... it just wasn't moving the story forward...arrggh!). But we have started using AS for various jobs and love it!
- quick and smooth!
So, hope you like. You will probably see us in this forum every now and then - cause we still have a lot to learn.
Bring on the AS update ... that layer ordering and texture animate stuff! ;D
Cheers

Thanks Guys! ... makes me feel good. There is more coming.
Gnaws: The top example was animated in AS completely. But as I mentioned this shot is actually being cut (I hate that!) . Maybe we will get to use it in a later episode
The other shots were done in Flash. Only because at the time we didn't really know how to use AS. We are using AS for 90% now.
We composite everything in After Effects.
Thanks Again

All that done in Anime Studio?
Will we be able get/see the 'toon in its entirety? 'would be too cool to see it all through!!!

Photoshop ... and belive it or not we some times use paper and pencil for our layouts!? ... old skool! ... but mostly use photoshop and cintiq'sI would assume that much of the 'painterly' background stuff wasnt actually drawn in AS..
