Opacity and transparency in Anime Studio

Post by laniangeline »

:) I was wondering if theres a way to change the opacity levels of an object in Anime Studio and make it transparent :?: I tried changing it in the direct layer but the transparency doesn't show in the preview.

You can set the alpha (transparency) for an individual object in the color picker box. You'll see a vertical slider on to the right of the color slider in the dialog box. That's alpha. Or you can set it numerically. But it won't show up in the editor unless you change the display quality to High or Preview (the display quality menu is in the bottom right corner of the main window).

Image layers will not show transparency at all in the preview. You must render to see image layer transparency.
