AS Defaults to frame 1

Post by DK »

For some reason AS has started opening up the startup file on frame 1 instead of 0? I tried saving a new startup file but it does'nt make any difference. It's a real pain as I tend to just open AS and start working without thinking and have to copy all my keyframes back to frame 0. Does anyone know how I can reset the default back to frame zero?

Wel...I found a fix. I Deleted the StartupFile.anme and AS opens perfectly.....I tried saving another StartupFile but it defaults back to frame 1 :(

Confused!

Yes, it is a pain.
I pointed it out one year ago and still waiting its fixing...
I think that the reason to do that is that the original StarupFile.anme is a sample of character and programmers did not want the noob user to see a character teared to pieces.

Hi Genete.
Thanks for pointing that out. You would think that one could customize any type of startup file....There's not much point in having a startup file that defaults to frame 1?

That startup file wreaks havoc on my Bone group tool testing but I have to test it just in case someone uses it.

I launch AM and create a new bone layer... OOPS! It's invisible on frame 0 so I can't add bones! Have to clear the layer visibility channel or delete it and add a new one on frame 0 instead.
