Post by patricia3d »

I got http://inkscape.org/ to create EPS file. EPS files created with this package are not importing in Anme Studio Pro?

Well, I don’t have Inkscape, only Illustrator CS and that works.
From Illustrator I export as “Illustrator Legacy EPS" and than choose “Illustrator 8 EPS”.
Are there any similar export settings in Inkscape ?

Cheers

Use "Adobe Illustrator 8 (*.ai)" instead.

Is there any way to import EPS created with Inkspace, because I don't have Adobe Illustrator .
Can it import SVG file?
Is there any FREE utility to convert SVG file to AI or EPS?

I spent less than a minute searching so I don't know how this might work but I did find this:

http://sk1project.org/modules.php?name= ... iconvertor

It looks like it can convert to AI version 5.0? I found this link on an Inkscape wiki page.

I think you misunderstood me (or I did not explain it properly). Export FROM Inkscape to Adobe Illustrator 8 (*.ai) format. It would import more or less right into AS.

I didn't know that Inkscape has AI export. I thought it only exported to "non proprietary" formats like eps and svg etc. I don't use it so I have no clue at all. ;)
