Series for Mobile Distribution

Post by bonvivant »

My brother and I have put together this little sample of a simple series we intend to market for mobile distribution.

If anyone here has any experience with mobile distribution, please consider this thread as a desperate cry/plea/prayer for help. Any advice or insights you might be able to offer would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for checking this out and I hope you like it.

You need to hail a cab to reality street! You would be pitching yourself against some professional organisations in selling mobile content. If you don't mind me saying so, this cartoon is lacking in both content and craftsmanship. You need to work out some amusing little punch lines, and develop some characters who are attractive on small screens...THEN you can think about marketing them.
You can't have everything. Where would you put it?

Ouch.

Thanks for the quick (and painfully honest) reply jahnocli! I see you're from the UK where the mobile industry is well polished and buzzing, but here in Canada there's not much available on the animation side of video for mobile phones.

Case in point, this is an animation on a top ten most popular list here in North America. Not to mention Canada's Virgin Mobile still doesn't have an animation section for video clips.

I'm not looking at this series as a cash cow I'll retire on, but a simple investment while adding content to a currently bleak landscape. Thanks again for your comment, and I look forward to the day you'll post more of your work here (I loved the origami crocodile).
