Have you checked to be sure the layer is visible by seeing if there is a little set of eyes showing to the left of the layer name?

If that box is clicked and the eyes disappear you won't be able to see that layer when you render or export.

Are the layers "missing" when you run the animation in the editing window? Is it the same layers missing every time?

If yes to the questions above it is most probably an accidental visibility key frame issue. Do what GardenGuy said. Even I accidentally "hide" layers and get confused.

Its the same layer every time, but I know I have the box checked and there should be no reson they are hidden, as well as the text I inserted. The items are in the editing screen, but after render/export they arent in the .mov

Have a look at the "masking" tab in the layer settings of that layer. "Don't mask this layer" should be checked.

I made a mistake in my last post.

Check the key frames on the layer visibility. If you create a new layer on a frame other than 0 it will be invisible up to that point.

Another thing to check, make sure the layer hasn't been "moved off screen" for some reason, like bound to a bone or a translation key you made by mistake. I often do this myself.

The layer should NOT "disappear" at render time (unless you are exporting to SWF). There has to be some key frame or other thing YOU DID that is causing the layer to not show. Post the file if you can.

You said you are exporting to .mov? Are you certain of this? You aren't exporting to SWF correct? Some layers just won't export to SWF. Just a shot in the dark.
