no sound in AVI?
Everytime I export to AVI the sound goes bye-bye. Only Quicktime seems to keep it, or Flash, but of course Flash doesn't like big ASP files. I don't mind exporting to Quicktime for web, but isn't AVI the format used by DVDs?

No, DVD's use a version of MPG... not positive I think it is MPG4 or something like it. If you have QT pro you can export directly to a DV format for DVD authoring that is what I do sometimes. AVI is just a computer video "package" like QT. The video itself inside the "package" can have whatever type of codec available in your system.AlanPS wrote:I don't mind exporting to Quicktime for web, but isn't AVI the format used by DVDs?
The DVD authoring tool you use determines what format (AVI, MOV) can be used. If it supports the .mov extension that will work the same as AVI.
