I like how you mostly used fills, and virtually NO strokes, to create the outlines, which look great. This is my preferred technique for character creation, and I don't use strokes at all if I can help it. Great character!

Hello DarthFurby, I'm glad of your interest !

I created this character with Illustrator CS with custom basic calligraphic stroke and a wacom tablet, here the AI file so u can see by yourself how I manage fills and strokes. AI import have many restrictions with AS as you know so that's why strokes are converted to fills.

I'm not a professional animator so I do not know if it's the right way to do considering the animation of a character (bone deformation and noise can "separate strokes from fills creating holes).

I suppose a better setup is to make the background stroke a fill with no hole > like this.

p.s. AS is a pretty good software to draw but I'm still attached to Illustrator.
