Quality Problems

Ok, I've been doing videos for a couple of months now, but one problem I seem to have is dealing with quality. I tried every format available and the only that delivers perfect quality is flash format, but it seems to malfunction as some parts of the picture just don't look right, and if for example I zoom out the animation, the lines keep the same thickness therefore making the pictures just big black silhouttes.

Well appreciate any help I can get here, cause the stupid low quality just keeps dismotivating me.

What "low quality"?

I produce excellent "high quality" renders to QT or image formats. Flash is very restrictive. Many things in AS won't export to SWF at all.

Could you show us the "low quality" you are talking about?

My guess is the "low quality" refers to the PLAYBACK not the actual render from AS. If you render to AVI or QT at a small resolution and playback full screen the quality will be horrible. If you use massive amounts of compression the quality will suffer.

Can you upload a anime source file so we can look at the project settings. I have run tests at both HDTV, 2K and 4K and the results are fine. Alternatively, can you upload a couple of examples to flickr s owe can second guess the problem.

The problem might be with the way your camera is set up - very much doubt its AS as everyone else is getting good quality.

... that would not be a problem on the project I am doing mow - everything is a big black silhouettes. (Should be able to post the results next month).
