Registration problems 5.6

I installed the 5.6 update an on launching I get a trial expired message. I tried to enter both my consumer and pro numbers but the program does accept them as valid. I have not removed 5.5 from the applications folder.

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Try to directly copy and paste it from your previous registration file: Anime Studio Pro.settings in the installation folder.

Do you have the pro or standard versions? From what I heard before you may have installed the wrong one for your serial number. The pro version download is over 100 mb.

My solution was updating my registration with Smith Micro. After doing that, the download for the software contained a duplicate of my license number and started up properly, as well as replacing the old file. Now I have to test it to see if I am going to have any of the mac issues. Although the lack of clear instruction on Smith Micro bugs me, the fact that they released this gives me hope for improvements. Thanks guys.

My problem was that neither the original nor the update number worked which were sent to me by email. Only the number which was displayed on the splash screen of my last AS version worked (under "help -> about AS").
