Is there a good switch layer tutorial online somewhere?
They aren't really covered in the tutorials that come with it, and the one part they are mentioned in layer-types is not helpful.
fiziwig covers using them for mouth shapes in his beginner tutorials here: http://fiziwig.com/anim/index05.php
But I'm looking for how to use them to control stuff like poses. Maybe have a side pose in one layer and a front in another to switch between them.
Or just have the head side pose in one and front in another.
If someone did a tutorial on some other things you could do with switch layers it would be a great resource.
switch layer tutorial?

Well, here is a very simple video-demonstration using side- and front-views.
Creating more views, especially for the head, of course would make switching much smoother, but otherwise the same principal applies.

Animating the guy would be next...

Hey Nolan, great tutorial!. But it sadly demonstrates how much annoying is to have the onion skin so close to the time cursor sliderNolan Scott wrote:Well, here is a very simple video-demonstration using side- and front-views.
