I just got the WienertoonzV1 character available at Content Paradise, and I couldn't believe I had never known about the great tutorials included in the package.

It is a simple cartoon wiener character, but it is actually setup so that you can animate with it immediately! It includes about 30 pre-animated cycles. Amoung these are: walking, jumping, kicking, and running. Many of the cycles are done in multiple angles. And every view is already setup for lip-sync!

I think the really awesome thing about this is that it comes with very good tutorials on how to use the character, including using the lip-sync. I raved to D.K about it, and he said I could provide this link to a free tutorial of the character that didn't get included in the package.

For any new users, anyone looking for 'ready to animate' content, or even any pros who just want to have some lighthearted fun with AS, I would definitely say that this is worth the money.

It is as instructive as it is useful.

P.s. I know this is a shameless plug, but compared to other content products I've seen, this one actually is 'ready to use' right out of the box, so to speak.

Synchronicity! I was just discussing this with DK... just now! Small world.

I did mention to him I think that the GOOD products on CP like his need to be promoted more. I don't think there is a lot of activity there due to a lack of really useful content.

Thank you both for the wonderfull comments. Personally I'm a bit embarrassed as I try to steer away from using the forum as an advertising platform

I would like to encourage more Forum regulars to put good content on CP or discuss how the content should be created for sale to the AS users all over the world. It'is a grey area that is in real need of a solid format before too much damage is done.

I'm downloading now the tutorial but from what I've seen before I can definitively say is that DK combines the best cartoon style and the sense of animation peace needed for a great cartoon animation. I'm sanely envious of his style.

When I were adult I would like to draw like him.

Holy cow!

DK sent me the Wienertoonz package for my... er... "professional opinion".

This thing is AMAZING!!!! It is worth every penny in my opinion. I recommend it for anyone who wants to get started right away with AS or wants some examples of animation techniques.

Yes it is just one character and... he is a wiener but he can do so much stuff! This, in my humble opinion could be the "template" that prepackaged AS characters might be based on (I'm not totally committing myself since it does look like a lot of work.

).

The package is put together EXTREMELY WELL. It has everything you need plus the tutorials. Someone new to AS could easily use this character to tell a complete story without knowing how to draw or add bones. Just get in there and start animating.

I hereby give my full stamp of approval. Fantastic job DK.

I've been also gifted with a free copy of the package and it is awesome good for value. I can only repeat what I've said before: this guy has a very interesting style for cartoon character animations.
