Post by Hero-Jaxx »

I drew a well known character named Roxas from a game series called kingdom hearts. I played around with em and created this test... just tell me what ya think

This is a start, but now you need to have a convincing motion for the forearms... just doing a rotation on them isn't sufficient.

As a reference, study the gestures which one can generate with Moviestorm. It's terrific, it's free, and I think it works on Mac as well as Win... so neither price nor platform ought to stand in your way.

Failing that, download some feature films from archive.org and study this kind of gesture delivered by an actor.

and... good luck

Good start, but the first thing I'd suggest is to minimize all that camera motion. It's really hard to watch something that zooms and pans so much.

good use of a lot of the features if your just testing them out, but for entertainment purposes less is more

Alright Now My PC was acting alittle funny lately because of old age and now I can't upload high quality AVI files... I have to convert them to WMV in low quality but besides that tell me what you think... the quality isn't how I originally had it but this second test should be an improvement and its 33 seconds longer then the first

here it is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHsgWmG6BBo

Please tell me what you think
