Gallus Entertainment/Absolute Studios/Decode Entertainment in downtown Toronto is looking for a Lightwave artist to join our team on a 100-episode children’s animated TV show, featuring live action backgrounds. This is an in-house position only.
Summary of Position:
Lightwave artists will be required to work in many aspects of the creative production process.
The job will involve skills using After Effects. Training will be given to those needing it in the After Effects area.
Responsibilities Include:
• Modelling and surfacing of props.
• Lighting and rendering scenes and sequences to meet art and story direction.
• Accountable for meeting productivity and quota targets.
Qualifications Include:
• A minimum of 3 years industry experience using Lightwave.
• Strong technical knowledge of Lightwave and associcated plug-ins.
• Excellent art skills.
• Excellent communication, time-management and organizational skills.
• Task driven, self-motivated, proactive.
• Actively accepts direction and provides ideas.
• Responsive to deadline and works well under pressure.
• Canadian citizen or Landed Immigrant status.
• Animation skills not necessary
