Help how do i make my character move

Good afternoon people,

i am new to anime studio 5 pro.

but i've got an problem when i made my character,
and after that i give him bones i click the manipulate bones button.
than only the bones move and not the character.
when i open the the anime characters aya or winsor the manipulate bones button works fine all the body part moving.
probebly the anser is simple but i cant figure it out.
all the beginners tips are much appreciated.

1. Please read the manual and work through the tutorials.

2. Take care of the difference in constructing a character in frame #0 and animating a character in frame #1 - the tools behave a bit differently there.

3. Train yourself to do the binding of shapes to bones correctly.

4. Learn about timelines and keyframes.

It's all covered in the manual, but you really have to read it sentence by sentence.

i found the Anime Studio User's Manual.

3.bones
3.1bone binding, i follow the instructions but the arm is not moving.
only the bones i put on the right places.

but you are right that i need to work thru the manual to master this program.

Hello 7thheaven. I'm a new user as well and just studying the use of bones.
This happened to me too. Then I noticed that I hadn't dragged the characterlayer on top of the bone layer. After that it worked just fine!
